Hello - I’m Debra!
From my earliest childhood memories, I’ve been an “organizer.” I put this down to training from my mum who would insist on a tidy bedroom and if it wasn’t - she would sweep everything into one big pile and I’d have to sort it out! To this day - my favorite way of tackling large projects is slowly and methodically working “down the pile," but I also have the flexibility to solve as I go.
As you will see from my resumé, I have extensive experience in event planning, office and personnel management and production management in a variety of companies. I have started companies, helped close companies, set up systems, organized existing systems and streamlined wherever I go. I enjoy getting my teeth into a large project and have a proven track record of being able to handle everything from personnel to pencils! I know that I can be a help to you - whatever the size of your project.
I have worked in corporate and civic office environments and, for the past 10 years, in the post production industry, recently running a studio. I have produced everything from webinars to tutorials. Weekly radio shows to live events at trade shows; and I have worked in the theatre producing a number of stage shows in Ventura County.
I have lived in and visited some really interesting places all over the world and enjoy the challenge of soaking up new cultures and experiences. I love food and, given half a chance, would sample all the culinary delights from every corner of the globe! I love a good movie and, in my spare time I turn my hand to being an actress. I have performed all over Ventura County and, for the past 11 years, I have had a regular part in the Christmas production of ‘A Christmas Carol’ at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.
Yes - I am a real, bonafide ‘Lady.’ Through a newly made law in the UK, I was bestowed the title in September of 2015. To address me fully - you would say “Lady Debra Price of Hougun Manor” (but I'm happy with just Debra!) Hougun Manor is an estate in the Lake District in the UK, close to Coniston Water. So - yes - I am really Lady Debra Price and it’s not just an affectation!
Why the dragon logo? Well - I have an enormous fascination with dragons and have done for many years. I have a large collection of figurines and the dragon motif can be found all round my home and office.
